Abstract
This section offers eight complex exercises which use a variety of means of communication. They give students an opportunity to produce several related pieces of work on a single topic and to apply their knowledge of other subjects, such as Secretarial Duties and Structure of Business. The class discussion which may precede written work in many of the exercises should enable students to ‘pool’ any practical experience or special knowledge they may already have to a consideration of the communication and organisational problems inherent in particular situations. The exercises are graded in order of length and difficulty, the shorter or simpler ones appearing first.
