Abstract

So far, this book has been concerned primarily with written and oral communication. The third medium of communication is the non-verbal medium. This was one of the earliest forms of communication. Indeed, much early written language has an element of picture-writing in it as with the Sumerian language and Egyptian hieroglyphics. The presentation of information in the form of a picture can simplify, yet still give the relevant communication.
