Abstract

Movements of the ‘shoulder’ are complex. These include not only glenohumeral but also scapulothoracic motion, which in turn involves both the acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular joints. Thus, when the shoulder joint is the site of complaint, it is essential to examine all these areas.
