Abstract
Under the 1950 Act (see p. 1) a Yugoslav ‘economic organisation’ was to be managed by a workers’ council, a management board and a director. The two collective bodies were supposed to take fundamental decisions and adopt various by-laws, plans, etc., while the director was to implement them and ‘administer the process of work’.
