Abstract

It is well recognised that while emotions produce bodily symptoms, the converse is equally true, that is body illness, injury, disfigurement and operations will lead to various moods and feelings as diverse as there are various types of differing personalities. While all body malfunctions will result in some emotional and mental consequences, some conditions are particularly prone to produce overt psychiatric symptoms.
