Abstract
The transformation of the world after Yalta is just beginning to be dimly perceived by political intellectuals; yet it lies at the very core of the concrete power struggle at world, regional and national levels. Hence this introductory attempt to cut through the cosmopolitan ideological smokescreen to reach for the link between power and culture, thought and action, in the historical process that is now unfolding.
