Abstract
Until now we have been primarily concerned with an account of value and desire based on the model universe with one will of section 1. But the world we know has a multitude of wills. Thus for any given value we have three possibilities: first, it may be a value of only one person (an appetitum of only one will); secondly, it may be a value shared by a number of persons (where several wills are directed at the same appetitum—wills in harmony); third, it may be a group value (where the appetitum is such as to be possessed only by a group of wills—wills in concert).
