Abstract

Hypothalamic peptides appear to serve a variety of functions. While many exert classical endocrine effects, certain of them appear also to cause alterations in behaviour, alterations in behavioural responses to drugs, or alterations in systems that themselves affect behaviour. Such actions are the subject of this chapter.
