Abstract

During recent years there has been an increasing interest in the relationship between the pharmacokinetics and the effects of various drugs. A better understanding of such relationships is a fundamental basis for establishing a correct therapeutic dosage regimen and the adjustment of this to individual variations in, for example, drug metabolism and response (Wagner, 1975; Jellett, 1976).
