Abstract
‘The Government Statistical Service is the major provider of statistics in the United Kingdom.’ So runs the opening sentence of a hand-out booklet Government Statistics for Industry. It is appropriate that the final chapter should elaborate this theme particularly as we are so indebted for many sources of material in both text and exercises.
