The Effect of Science and Technology on the Decision-Making Machinery of Government and Parliament
The second working sitting of the conference was under the chairmanship of René Radius, member of the French National Assembly and chairman of the committee on regional planning and local authorities of the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly. The rapporteurs were former Congressman Emilio Daddario, director of the Office of Technology Assessment of the United States Congress, and Martin Lees of the OECD Secretariat. The discussion leader was the German parliamentarian Christian Lenzer, Opposition spokesman on science and technology.
