Abstract
There was comparative calm in the Abbey Theatre last night when ‘The Playboy of the Western World’ was again produced. The audience was smaller than on any night since the production of the play, which has been received with such a storm of disapproval. The fact that there was little disorder enabled those present to form a more correct impression of the character of the play than could hitherto be gained.
