Abstract

THE NIGHT AFTER the British Broadcasting Corporation production of Tea Party, the Royal Shakespeare Company presented, in Cardiff, Pinter’s most recent stage play, The Homecoming. After a short provincial tour, the play entered the repertoire at the Aldwych in June, 1965. Directed by Peter Hall, the cast included Vivien Merchaht playing the part of Ruth.
