Abstract

Once the individual corrosion-control fundamentals of a particular utility have been duly appraised, evaluated and culled in each separate division of the set procedures, and prior to the reconciliation of the corrosion-control complex with its functional counterpart in design, a final summary, concept or a corrosion-control plan is the next logical step. In this plan each individual product of the appraisal procedures is adjusted and rationalised to obtain an optimum compromise of corrosion-control precautions, answering to the anticipated production, environmental conditions and sound economy; that is, as near as is obtainable within the boundaries of the corrosion-control domain.
