Abstract

As explained in volume 1 of this series, there are two methods of making concrete products, by the pre-cast method and by the in situ method. In the former the product is either made in a factory or on the ground on the site where the item is required. In the latter method the formwork is constructed in the position where the concrete item is actually needed. Let us take one or two examples of each.
