Preparative agarose gel electrophoresis

  • B. G. Johansson

Simple and rapid techniques for preparation of proteins are often in demand in studies of protein metabolism. Various preparative gel electrophoretic techniques employing polyacrylamide have been described, but their use is sometimes hampered by the fact that they are laborious and time-consuming.
