Abstract
Telemetric equipment enables the biomechanical researcher to avoid using cables between the subject and registration devices. Very often, radio transmitting equipment with the following specifications is required: (a) small and lightweight devices on the subject, but with a strong transmitter with a long battery life; (b) many data channels for the transmitting of quick signals, but with high accuracy (amplitude, phase, linearity) of the experimental procedure. Even if there are no financial limitations, all of these requirements cannot be satisfied; therefore, it is the duty of the engineer to find a good compromise.
