Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the interaction of women side horse vaulters with the Reuther board during performance of the handspring vault. Specific parameters to be identified were the forces and impulses of the board as a function of the vaulter’s contact position and the sequential pattern of segmental motion and force parameters during board contact.
