Abstract

The main purpose of this chapter is to undertake a closer investigation of the relationship between the supply of leisure facilities and mobility. The precise indices of attraction and accessibility suggested in Chapter 6 could not be derived for the models tested in Chapter 7, but by confining our attention to a single urban area some tentative estimates of this interaction can be made.
