Abstract
The previous chapter has established the basis for modelling the key variable of the analysis — travel. It has attempted to show why the more conventional transport models are inappropriate in the case of leisure travel, particularly when the output of the travel model is required as an input to an evaluation model. In this chapter some results from testing such a model, albeit in a preliminary form, can be outlined. After an introductory discussion of the data, the basic estimated models are presented, and the remainder of the chapter consists of detailed analysis of particular influences.
