Consumer Demand for Leisure and Recreation
The discussion of a procedure for evaluating projects in the recreation sector has highlighted the need for a rigorous examination of a theory of individual consumer demand for such facilities. This lies at the heart of this study and in this chapter we shall establish the framework of the analysis; subsequent chapters are concerned with the empirical evidence and testing of this framework.
