What do Animals See?

Abstract

Before we attempt to calculate how much animals actually see, we must make it clear that although we can determine the structure of each eye and how the eye functions, we are quite unable to determine how the animal actually interprets the image formed on the retina. From the animals’ reactions to visual stimuli we can form our own conclusions, but these may not be entirely correct.
