Analysis of Machine Dynamics

Abstract

Acceleration diagrams of a hundred mechanisms have been measured by the author. One of these, an indexing table (fig. 7.1), will be taken as one example. A spring-loaded cam follower mechanism (fig. 7.2) will be another. The latter is a test mechanism built specially in order to permit of easy changes of the parameters τ and F_a of the mechanism by shifting of the cam and one of the bearings along the camshaft.
