Abstract

As the preceding chapter indicates, airport planners have not done much systematic analysis of the shape and function of airport terminals. Indeed, the industry is only just beginning to recognize what questions need to be examined, which concepts ought to be implemented, in what combination. Intuition has been the deciding factor in the selection of the form of the terminals.
