  1. (a)

    Divide the answer to Ex. 2.2 (p × q × r) by each of its 3 factors: there will be no remainders. In each case check the decimal point of your answer by inspection of the product of the other two factors, i.e. test (pqr)/r by inspection of pq.

  2. (b)

    Find the reciprocals, to 4S, of 1·249, 0·08334, 750·2. Check the figures of your answers by reciprocal tables, and then multiply each number by its 4S reciprocal.
