Abstract
OUTDOOR RECREATION ACTIVITIES are extremely diverse in their nature and scope and generally involve the use of large areas of land or water which are often in short supply. Furthermore, leisure is becoming an increasingly important part of people’s lives, and more free time and greater prosperity enable people to extend their free time activities. An increasing population which is better educated, more prosperous and more mobile will in the next few years place a very heavy demand on many outdoor recreational facilities.
