Abstract

Regular care of the car bodywork is necessary if the appearance and general condition are not to deteriorate. To protect the car exterior against the action of rain, dirt and air pollution, the bodywork should be washed frequently using a soft sponge and plenty of water containing a mild detergent. Care must be taken not to scratch the bodywork by rubbing mud or grit into the surface, hence the reason for using plenty of water.
