Abstract
Within the broad type classification of relays many variations exist, each having its own specific application and hence its own particular parameters to be checked. Obviously in order to determine the important aspects of any test procedure, the use to which the device is to be put needs to be known, and the function of it must be understood. The following list is representative of the types of relay which occur in normal use.
