A Survey of the Principles of Metallic Corrosion and its Control in Saline Waters

  • W. T. Denholm
  • E. C. Potter

Summary

An outline of the theory of corrosion processes is presented, using pH-potential diagrams to summarize theoretical and experimental data relating to corrosion; the pitting corrosion of iron in chloride-containing waters is treated in some detail.
