Yeats’s Poetry: the Major Phase, 1916–39. No Enemy but Time
In the Introduction I mentioned certain ideas which were formulated by Yeats in his prose writings, and span his life. Now, I want to consider the verse, starting with ‘The Wild Swans at Coole’, and moving through a commentary attached to selected poems written from that period until his death.
