Abstract
Thus far we have dealt with frequency distributions based upon data obtained from observation and experiment. Distribution curves so obtained often approximate curves which are derived from purely theoretical considerations, and not infrequently the degree of approximation is a close one. A theoretical distribution curve which is of fundamental importance is the so-called normal curve.
