Two Worlds

Abstract

All nations are victims of their past. This is particularly true of India where thousands of years of tradition have come into conflict with a realization that change is necessary to improve the people’s way of life. In this chapter, we will consider some of these conflicts between tradition and change, and the problems which have been created.
