Abstract

A day of national rejoicing: while flags, red, white and blue fly out, children bright and gay, wearing orange ribbons, are singing and dancing on a green lawn in front of my window. Golden sunshine adds to the feeling of happiness. Musing over this scene it occurs to me that all the important and indispensable actors that play their parts in the production of colour, and therefore have their place in this book, are present.
