The Logic of Sets

Abstract

In the last chapter we examined the logic of the proposition that unequal bodies fall with equal accelerations. If in fact we do not know what that acceleration is, the proposition is only of limited use. In this chapter we will take a look at a premiss which yields more precise inferences.
