Abstract

The type of cold water supply system depends on the local water authorities bylaws. There are two distinct systems in use, i.e. indirect, and direct, but there are also some slight modifications to these systems, and it is essential that the plumber should obtain advice from the water authority concerned before carrying out work in a district for the first time.
