Abstract

It is usual to speak of John Wyclif as the Morning Star of the Reformation,1 but it is well to ask, With what limitations has he a right to that title? To answer that question we must review the history of Lollardy and try to determine its doctrines and their prevalence in the early years of the XVI century.
