Abstract
The ten points mentioned on pp. 19–20 of the Introduction summarize the main concepts of the ideology accepted by most of those who during the last hundred years or so have described themselves as Marxists. It must be added that Marxism as a movement (today, the world’s most influential ideological and political movement), has been characterized essentially by the total acceptance of a set of ideas. In other words, integralism, which implicitly rejects the legitimacy of any other idea, has been a major feature of Marxism. Marxist integralism at the ideological level necessarily led to political authoritarianism at the level of political activities. Several practical consequences derive from integralism.
