Abstract

In this chapter, the methods of analysis discussed in Chapter 4 et seq. will be applied to some of the vessel components most commonly in use. Diagrams showing the maximum stresses under internal pressure will be presented and, whenever possible, the predicted theoretical results will be compared with experimental data.
