Endangered Languages

  • Sue Wright

This chapter of the book deals with all the other languages of the world, languages that are neither the official language of a state, a region or a province nor important trading languages or intergroup lingua francas. This is an enormous topic because most of the world’s 7000 1 or so languages fall into this category. And most of these can be considered in danger.
