2013: The Adam Smith Address Financial Services and the Trust Deficit: Why the Industry Should Make Better Governance a Top Priority

  • Roger W. FergusonJr.

Abstract

I want to begin by expressing my deep appreciation to NABE for recognizing me in this way. When I got the letter from Ken Simonson informing me about the Adam Smith Award, I was delighted. And when I saw the list of past recipients, I was both delighted and truly humbled to be among them. The Adam Smith Award is a great honor. Thank you for bestowing it on me. It is also an honor to have the opportunity to speak to the NABE membership again.
