The family-owned grocery chain, Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., has grown to more than $3 billion in sales in recent years. Founded in 1916 and based in Rochester, New York, the company has aggressively pursued geographic expansion and now numbers around 70 stores in four states and is soon to enter a fifth.
