How Much Growth Is Right for Our Business?
Suppose you and the other owners of your company have looked at all the questions and issues raised in the last two chapters. You’ve explored the pros and cons of growth with your senior managers, board of directors, and key family members, including potential owners and successors (if they are adults). Together, you have decided that you want the business to grow, and you’ve come to an agreement on what growth means. Now you are ready to spend some serious time answering the second question posed at the end of Chapter 2: “How much should we grow?”
