Abstract

The New Labour revolution spanned 25 years of Philip Gould’s life, from 1985 to the party’s election defeat in 2010. It was a rollercoaster ride for him, while consuming the energies and passions of a generation of activists, as the party — eventually — chalked up three major election victories in a row.
