Abstract

Now that the country’s economic disaster and the newly born political movements have utterly discredited the idea of socialism and, indeed, the very word itself, it may have been forgotten that, originally, the concept of the rule-of-law state was presented to the public as a means of strengthening the existing socialist framework.
