Abstract

You approach a hotel door. You turn off your cell phone so it will not interrupt the interview. You hear voices inside and wonder whether to knock or not. You take one last glance at your cheat sheet for this university, and rap boldly on the door at the appointed hour. Some schools talk to a candidate until the next makes his or her presence known, so don’t hold back. You shake hands with two or three or five or perhaps even six people, and note the coffee urn and the awkwardly placed chairs. Your heart beats as you sit down.
