H. S. Shivaprakash: Shakespeare Dreamship (Kannada)

Abstract

H.S. Shivaprakash, born in 1954, taught English in Karnataka for many years and is currently editor of the Sahitya Akademi journal Indian Literature. He has published four books of poems and eight plays in Kannada and has translated several poems and plays, including King Lear, into Kannada. He has won many awards, including the Sangeet Natak Akademy award for Drama in 1997.
