Abstract
As families grow through birth, adoption, and marriage, eventually it will no longer be feasible to have all family members make all decisions together. For larger families, family assembly and family association meetings help to organize the family and to make decisions and are flexible enough to allow smaller decision-making groups to serve in an executive capacity. This streamlines the decision-making process provides a forum for education, development, and some shared decision making in larger groups.
