Abstract

Chapter 2 describes the characteristics of an HTML document, including some of the basic HTML elements and their attributes. The list of attributes will not necessarily be complete, but includes a subset that will be used in this book. The chapter includes a description of how to set colors in documents and a brief introduction to cascading style sheets (CSS).
