Abstract

After your first exciting looks at the Moon and planets, you will likely try out the objects in the Tour list. Some of those objects may not be visible with your model of NexStar scope and in any case the Tour list will only keep you occupied for so long. How do you decide what to view? Do you find yourself simply pressing the “M” button and starting at “001”? How do you go about maximizing your limited time under clear skies? There are probably as many ways to prepare for an evening as there are people with telescopes! But there are some suggestions I can give you, as well as resources and ways to use them.
