Abstract
This paper deals with general requirements that can be used when a FMEA software tool is being designed. The requirements are focused on facilitating maintaining a living PSA, documentation of the fault tree model and quality assurance. Solutions to the requirements are presented as specifications that have been used when designing the FMEA software tool RiskSpectrum® FMEA.
